China State Shipbuilding's profit up to RMB 2.61 bln in 2010

China State Shipbuilding Co Ltd, a unit of the country's biggest shipbuilder China State Shipbuilding Corp or CSSC, on Apr. 14 said it booked RMB 2.61 billion in net profit attributable to shareholders last year, 4.32% more than in 2009. 
In 2010, Shanghai-listed China State Shipbuilding reaped RMB 29.86 billion in operating revenue, up 18.3% year on year, and its earnings per share swelled 4.51% year on year to RMB 3.94. 
The company has declared a dividend of RMB 0.60 apiece and will issue six shares for every ten existing shares held by each shareholder.

Last year, China State Shipbuilding produced 56 vessels and 113 diesel engines, which brought revenue of RMB 24.86 billion and RMB 3.18 billion, respectively. The firm also realized RMB 1.24 billion in revenue from ship repairing business, sources reported.
